Why go there?
For La Table Libanaise's gastronomy, cooked according the Lebanese tradition and more specifically according the Lebanese mountains's tradition, from where the chef Adib comes from. This chef perpetuates the dishes from his childhood : grilled lamb brochettes, chicken marinated in lemon, garlic and olive oil and spit-roast beef...
For the restaurant's light decoration that defies the Oriental caricature. At La Table Libanaise, you won't find any flashy colours nor glitters. The restaurant offers an elegant setting with a parquet floor, champagne shades, small Phoenician statuettes and black-and-white photos of Beyrouth. For its bellydance shows, on week-ends.
With members of your family to share the chef's generous platter : four cold starters, four hot starters, two brochettes each, an assortment of baklawas and a bottle of Lebanese wine (108 € for four guests).
Ministers and showbiz stars are among La Table Libanaise's regulars. But Adib, the chef, won't reveal any names !
The royal Charwarma royal : sliced and marinated beef that is spit-roast and served with taratore sauce.
The Kefraya, a red wine from the Lebanese plain of Bekaa ; and in rosé, the Ksara.
