Manuela’s opinion
Why go there?
For the stamp left by Lord Astor, an English man who fell in love with this oustanding Hausmann building and created the hotel in 1907, and the lovely English touch of the decoration.
For the Astor Saint-Honoré's Regency revival style, and especially for its glassroof that let the daylight comes in.
For its privileged location at the cross roads of Garnier opera, La Madeleine, Elysées palace and Saint-Honoré faubourg.
For the Astor's creative cuisine that sublimates scallops, prawns, ducklings and beef, as seasons go by. And finally for the restaurant's jazzy dinners, every last Thursdays of the month.
With who?
With our uncle from Scotland who will appreciate Astor Saint Honoré's British elegance.
The regulars
Scallops with pickled endives and bee balm pesto, but only until april because at Astor Saint-Honnoré, the chef only works with seasonnal products.
Must-Eat dishes
Business men for lunch, and the Parisian upper crust for dinner.
The wines
Just like the menu, the wine list changes four times a year to creat perfect harmonies between dishes and wines.
Best tables
The alcove tables n° 8 and 12, perfect for a confidential business meal or a romantic dinner.
