Why go there?
Because Plancha & Cie is an expert at "plancha-cooking", in front of Poitiers railway-station.
For its fancy interior decoration, in cream and grey shades, half-way between an American dining place and a Parisian bistro.
Because Plancha & Cie is not a health food stakhanovist and offers a few delicacies that will make you forget about the calorie count.

Duck foie gras served in a jar, with smoked duck breast and fig jam (9€), for starter ; Poitou Burger 250 g à la plancha, with a slice of fresh goat cheese, and sautéed potatoes (16€), for main course ; and for dessert, Pineapple à la plancha, roasted stick and coconut foam (5,50€).
